MICHELIN Guide's Point Of View

Bib Gourmand: good quality, good value cooking

Located in the upper part of the city, Saó boasts an evocative name (which translates as “ripeness” in English) that describes the “perfect maturity” of ingredients used here. Valencia-born chef Juanen Benavent develops his menus based on locally sourced seasonal produce, creating traditional dishes with a strong French influence, which comes from four years working at the Goust restaurant in Paris. Choose from three menus (Llavor, Guerminat and Arrels), which vary in terms of the number of dishes they each offer.
