€€ Traditional Cuisine

MICHELIN Guide's Point Of View

Located just a few steps from the national library, this restaurant champions traditional flavours and the essence of cooking that never goes out of fashion, as highlighted by its signature dishes, namely fish and meat cooked on the open grill. The à la carte, which usually features powerful dishes such as a daily stew, also includes two unmissable specialities: the famous Cocido de Carmen served in three stages (firstly, the soup, then the tender Pedrosillano chickpeas, and lastly the meats); and the legendary Tortilla de Betanzos (there is even a counter that shows how many omelettes have been served here since 2014!).
