Chef Alejandro Zarate brings the cuisine of Ensenada to Mexico City with Campobaja. Set on two floors, the restaurant's upper level is reminiscent of a warehouse with high ceilings, iron beams, and recycled wood materials used for towing boats that have been reborn as tables, seating and accents. The kitchen is inspired by the honest and simple cuisine of a Mexican fish camp. The quality of the seafood is paramount, and the menu is designed for sharing, with dishes ranging from ceviches and aguachiles to burritos, tostadas, and fish tacos, of course. Fried spiny red lobster and grilled octopus are two highlights not to miss.
