This welcoming restaurant tucked away behind the busy Gran Vía is run by the duo of Juanjo López and Nacho Trujillo and has made a name for itself thanks to their pure and pleasantly updated take on market-inspired cooking. The à la carte is backed up by two menus (Degustación and Experiencia Tasquita) that also focus on local provenance, seasonality and easily recognisable ingredients. We can highly recommend the beef sirloin meatballs, the tempura anchovies with fried egg, and the superb steak tartare (awarded the title of “best in Spain” at the 2025 Madrid Fusión show).
