A beautiful mansion that was once the home of the famous bullfighter Manolete, and before him the philosopher José Ortega y Gasset. In its elegant dining rooms (it also boasts a charming central patio that is used as a dining space), chef Juanjo Ruiz creates regionally inspired contemporary cooking on an à la carte complemented by a tasting menu. The chef is considered a true specialist in the art of making “salmorejo”, and has created over 600 different varieties of this traditional Cordoban dish.
