Harbour Head, Porthleven, United Kingdom
££ ・ Asian Influences
Welcoming harbourside granary with thick stone walls, a tiled floor and an array of wood furnishings; its name means ‘shellfish’ in Maori. Menus mix unfussy and more elaborate dishes and display subtle Asian influences courtesy of the owner’s Chinese and Malaysian background. Many of the ingredients are foraged. Bedrooms are simply furnished – one overlooks the harbour.
