The proprietor of Jungin Myeonok has had just one goal since day one — to continue the legacy of his parents for as long as he can, using only the best ingredients. The establishment’s legendary Pyeongyang cold buckwheat noodles are based on a tightly guarded family recipe handed down to him by his parents, who both hail from North Korea. The room gets packed quickly during lunch service, especially during the warmer months.
