If you’d like to enjoy creative, regionally inspired flavours in Viseu’s historic centre, Flora is the perfect choice for you. Here, João Guedes, a chef who is passionate about nature (hence the name of his restaurant), conjures up cuisine that works in line with the seasons in dishes with strong flavours and highly original presentation. His culinary repertoire is split into three surprise tasting menus (5, 7 and 9 courses) that champion the quality of ingredients and can be perfectly paired with a “selection of minimum intervention, organic and biodynamic wines”. This contemporary bistro-style eatery with a minimalist ambience can only accommodate 14 guests, so make sure you book ahead.
