Prepare to be bowled over by this small bistro located a little away from the centre of the city but with a welcoming ambience, special charm and unique decor. Here, talented female chef Aurora Goy pays homage to her family’s Franco-Portuguese roots in her exploration of unique flavours and use of refined techniques to enhance the flavour and presentation of her dishes. Her cuisine, showcased on two tasting menus entitled Apego (5 courses) and Desapego (7 courses), is essentially based around vegetables sourced from local producers. To enjoy the experience to the full, we recommend ordering the hake ravioli with raw shrimp, miso eggplant and bisque, and the 70% Costa Rican chocolate with yuzu, kumquat and bacon ice cream... you won’t regret it!
