Set up in a former stable, it features décor that merges rustic and modern to preserve the identity of the place. The high-ceilinged dining area blends perfectly with the exposed stone walls, steel finishes and a charming, cosy chimney that descends from the ceiling. Chef Renato Cunha provides a traditional cuisine with modern touches, based on organic produce from the Minho region. The broad range includes à la carte options and four tasting menus: Ferrugem, Recortes de Portugal, Minho, and a vegetarian option (there are also choices for children). Among the delicacies are pickled mackerel served with coastal prawn oil, roasted beef chuck served with a delicious ratatouille, and a dessert of Rocha pear drizzled with Port wine, with a cheesecake base!
