In the centre of this town, “la cuisine” is well and truly honoured in this excellent eatery. Chef Johann Dubernet, assisted in the dining room by cheerful Isabelle, his partner, signs colourful, fragrant and beautifully presented dishes whose influences are manifold: tempura of frog’s legs in curry and saté sauce; John Dory in a green tomato and shiso leaf chutney; brownie with pineapple poached in combava and a spicy sorbet. Subtle, suave, spot-on cooking!
