€€ ・ Modern Cuisine
This eatery is located in a side street off the busy Rue Sainte Catherine. From his tiny kitchen at the rear of the dining room, which enables him to chat with customers, chef Benjamin Wavrant whips up a bargain-priced bistronomic lunchtime menu with a patriotic line-up of dishes, like potato soup followed by a slab of pollock seared in butter, flavoured in citrus fruit and underscored by a gutsy meaty gravy. More upmarket in the evening, premium ingredients such as foie gras, scallops and pigeon are crafted into a more gastro-leaning menu.
