A welcome addition to the rue Mouffetard: this bistro with a minimalist decor comprising concrete floor and ceiling is modelled on the Japanese izakaya. Under the leadership of chef Eric Trochon, Otto proposes a cuisine for sharing based on a short menu that revolves around the produce, simply accompanied by a condiment or a sauce for that extra kick. Hence chimichurri, sauce vierge or diable, ponzu sauce or lemon condiment are served alongside meat and fish, often cooked over binchotan coals. Please note that they don't take bookings.
