Run by an enthusiastic wine buff, this gourmet bistro also benefits from the culinary talent of a former chef of Christophe Bacquié. The food is authentic, generous and delicious. The regularly renewed slate menu stars a traditional bistro line-up, albeit with an updated Mediterranean tang: mint-flavoured courgette gazpacho and courgette flowers stuffed with Brousse cow’s cheese; roast Mediterranean dentex (fish) and risotto-style celeriac; pistachio-flavoured financier with strawberry soup… Located in a semi-pedestrian street just behind the waterfront, it is thankfully and peacefully off the beaten tourist track.
