Bingo for this semi-industrial, semi-cosy bistro alongside Notre Dame de Lorette Church, where two mates tick all the boxes to regale us. On one side, Dan Humphris (who also runs a nearby bakery-grocery store where he sells organic produce from his father’s farm in the Yvelines) and on the other, youthful Sylvain Parisot, with stints in star-studded establishments (l’Astrance and La Marine with Alexandre Couillon) under his belt. Conclusion? First class ingredients (Gascony pork chops, Landes poultry), daring ideas (oysters and camembert ice cream), generosity, sensible prices and spot-on, friendly service.
