In the student district of the Louis Lumière and Jean Moulin Universities, this Kitchen is thriving. The interior, a delightful blend of Art deco and Scandinavian (as is the owner), holds only eight small square tables. The pastry display case (to eat in or take away), the work of the owner’s pastry chef companion, sets our tastebuds drooling and the kitchen is open for breakfast and teatime, as well as lunch (but is closed in the evenings). Organic local produce, vegetables mainly, take pride of place on the table.
