Bib Gourmand: good quality, good value cooking
After pursuing a career abroad, the chef has returned to his roots, to the family's former hunting lodge, to devote himself to cooking – his earliest passion. In this convivial place, he has perfectly mastered generous traditional cuisine, from cooking to seasoning. We love the terrine with home-made sourdough bread and gherkins from the estate in vinegar. The plus: overnight accommodation in a cabin on stilts!

"At La Cour de Rémi, a family estate restored by the current owners, the food is generous, local and seasonal. The produce is carefully sourced, either from the estate’s kitchen garden and orchards or from a hand-picked network of small producers. Like everything else here, the sourdough bread, using ancient varieties of wheat, and the brioche served at breakfast, are home made. The wine list is predominantly organic or biodynamic."
