MICHELIN Guide's Point Of View

The Pinot Noir grape, produced in Burgundy, is used by vintners to make unique wines. Ikuo Komatsu chose this name for his restaurant because he wants to be a one-of-a-kind chef, just like the one-of-a-kind grape. He brings together numerous ingredients, including vegetables, to create dishes based on traditional French cuisine. He and his daughter prepare the food and serve the customers as a tag team. Their friendly competition provides a glimpse of the family bond.
