Within the Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie et du Vin, this restaurant is just a few metres from the Chapelle des Climats et des Terroirs. The contemporary decor also highlights the building's historical features, such as the exposed stonework and beamed ceiling – a gorgeous setting that serves as a backdrop for cuisine that fetes produce from the region, with the odd surf 'n' turf dish featuring among the options: œuf meurette (egg in a red wine sauce) with a twist; langoustines, ham terrine with parsley and ginger-steamed artichoke; matured Charolais beef, red wine reduction and a carrot medley. Food and wine pairings are a serious matter here, with an impressive selection of wines by the glass (around 50). Reasonable prices.
