The pleasant surprises keep on coming: from the amuse-bouches to the dessert, diners enjoy cuisine that is based on fresh local produce (including the odd herb plucked from the owner's kitchen garden), and skilfully prepared (eg hibiscus, saffron and lemon gels, ice creams and mousses).
