Together with his team, Christopher Weigel cooks up very elaborate and technically sophisticated cuisine replete with contrasts, finesse and expressive touches. Made with top-notch ingredients and bursting with flavour, the creative dishes are cosmopolitan but also draw inspiration from the region. The friendly and professional staff will gladly recommend the right wine to accompany the set menu. The setting is attractive, too; the elegant restaurant notably features a large portrait of Clara Schumann, whose claims to fame include having featured on the 100 DM note, and after whom the restaurant is named. There is also a cookery school.
