In the Oberwinterthur district, Markus Burkhard and his partner Flavia Hiestand have given the traditional restaurant a modern touch. You will be attentively looked after in a friendly atmosphere and enjoy a three- or four-course menu based on selected Swiss products, which you can put together yourself. With flavourful dishes such as ‘Cauliflower, lettuce, almond’, ‘Bream dumplings, crayfish bisque, watercress’ or ‘Beef, carrot, lettuce’, you will notice the excellent, precise craftsmanship of Markus Burkhard, who previously made a name for himself as head chef at ‘Jakobs ESSZIMMER’ in Rapperswil. The garden terrace with its shady plane trees is also a really nice spot. Tip: public car park in the immediate vicinity.
