MICHELIN Guide's Point Of View

If the idea of a pared-down Japanese restaurant in the Jardins district of the city appeals to you, this intimate eatery with a modern vibe and a decor featuring ceramic details, manga dolls and even graffiti could fit the bill. Here, everything revolves around the small counter and the constantly changing Omakase menu. Guests are all booked in together so that everyone starts at the same time. They then find their place setting at the counter thanks to a handwritten menu with their name on it and the selection of that day’s dishes. Savour traditional Japanese kaiseki-style cuisine with a focus on the beauty of the dish, as well as taste and balance. We loved the delicious “nizakana” – fish that is slow cooked in a sake and ponzu broth.
