Plaine Images, a hub for the creative industries, occupies this former industrial textile site and is also home to chef Lucas Grabowski's restaurant. After learning the ropes in the kitchens of NESO in Paris (among others), he is pushing culinary boundaries by combining French tradition with nods to Asian cuisine. At lunchtime, there is an affordable set menu, on which "saucisse-purée" (sausage and mash) sits alongside aromatic ramen. In the evening, the tasting menu takes things up a notch with more sophisticated dishes featuring scallops, red mullet or aged beef. Carefully selected ingredients, crystal-clear seasonings and meticulous plating underpin a menu that changes with the seasons and the chef's inspirations.
