MICHELIN Guide's Point Of View

Three Stars: Exceptional cuisine

"Sustainable - seasonal - regional" is the motto of chef Lukas Adebahr and his team. The restaurant is housed in a historical building that enjoys an idyllic location in Munich's Englischer Garten – be sure to factor in a walk before or after dinner. He and his team adhere to the farm-to-table principle, using the finest ingredients sourced from regional producers or grown on site for dishes such as "rooster, green asparagus & morels". The cuisine often draws on imaginatively integrated Bavarian influences. Desserts such as "baba, rhubarb & sour cream" are tempting, too. There are two tasting menus: the omnivore "Vom Hof" and vegetarian "Vom Garten". The stylish interior has an Alpine feel, tastefully incorporating sleek design, wood, glass and attractive decorative details.

Gastronomy & Sustainability

MICHELIN Green Star

"Regionality, seasonality and sustainability are the three pillars of our restaurant in  the middle of the Englischer Garten, where we adhere to the principles of nose-to-tail and farm-to-table eating. We source fish exclusively from Birnbaum fish farm, chicken and game from the Polting estate and vegetables from farmers we trust.  "
