This cosy restaurant decorated with gorgeous wood panelling is another culinary option within the Schlosskeller world of gastronomy. As an alternative to Gourmetstube, Wirtshaus serves up flavoursome dishes that tap into the regional repertoire and are in step with the seasons. Austrian classics such as Backhenderl (Viennese fried chicken) also feature on the menu. Save room for the apricot dumplings for dessert! The sharing menu for two, comprising eight small courses is also a good idea (Thu-Sat). Pizza is served on Wednesdays. The cordial and highly proficient service extends to competent wine recommendations. The fantastic view of the picture-perfect landscape of vineyards and forests draws guests to the terrace in summer.
