The team at the helm of this trendy restaurant with an upbeat atmosphere is a group of friends headed up by Israeli chef Elior Benaroche, once sous-chef at Balagan and an associate of Assaf Granit since his early days in the heart of Jerusalem's Old City. Tapping into the Levant and the chef's family history, this cuisine is a festival of spices and condiments: hilbeh (fenugreek paste), ezme (Turkish salad of charcoal-roasted vegetables), tahini, zaatar, harif (marinated chillis), tulum (Turkish cheese) – rounded off by a fine cocktail menu.
