Nothing remains of the ruined château, the site of which has been given a new lease of life thanks to the vision of two childhood friends from the town. Now there are guestrooms, lodges and… a restaurant housed in the timber extension. The chef serves authentic cuisine that is beautifully fresh and packed with flavour: trout ceviche, cucumber aguachile with coriander oil; pulled pork, seasonal vegetables and jus; riz au lait (delectable!). They implement a sincerely eco-responsible approach: priority is given to local producers and an aquaponics greenhouse for growing their own vegetables is being developed.
