Only two set menus are offered, with 11 or 12 ovo-lacto vegetarian courses, which can be made vegan upon request. They change according to the solar terms in Chinese calendar and the more expensive menu includes gourmet ingredients like bird’s nest. As opposed to typically light-tasting vegetarian food, the dishes here pack oomph and intense heat. Richly flavoured, shredded wild rice stem with pea kernels is seasoned with chilli oil and mushroom sauce.
