Operating as a café, restaurant and bar, this place enjoys a fantastic location in the city centre. One could happily spend the whole day here, as they serve breakfast, then there's a small lunch menu, lights are available throughout the day and, finally, there's the evening menu, as well as a daily special ("Funkes Empfehlung"). This establishment is run by executive chef Tobias Funke and head chef Andi von Gunten – both previously worked together at Incantare in Heiden. Ambitious as ever, they continue to strive for excellence, serving up hearty home-style cuisine. Take, for example, the fish fingers made with wild-caught cod and trout, served with new potatoes, fresh spinach and a miso hollandaise sauce. The atmosphere is relaxed, the vibe is trendy and the centrally positioned bar is especially inviting. Lovely spacious terrace.
