MICHELIN Guide's Point Of View

Bib Gourmand: good quality, good value cooking

It is estimated that the Lebanese community and its descendants living in Brazil nowadays is greater than the current-day population of the Lebanon. The first immigrants arrived in the 1880s, consequently, many dishes of Arabian origin became typical Brazilian dishes, such as sfiha and kibe. This brasserie has been serving authentic Arabian cuisine for seven decades, transforming the Victoria into a gastronomic icon in the Greater São Paulo area. Founded by Dona Victória, it has been run by the same family for several generations. The menu offers a wide variety of mouthwatering options such as kaftas, sfihas (open, closed and folded), kibes, labneh and pitta bread. Make sure you save space for the incredible desserts here, such as the nut-filled atayef pancakes topped with a delicious lemon syrup.
