Tables on the terrace are coveted, but the interior with its velvet finishings is also a feast for the eyes. Soft pastel tones, colourful flower arrangements, stylish design, and ambient lighting make for a relaxed yet chic setting. Chef Egon van Hoof also knows how to make a visual impression with his elegantly presented dishes. Thanks to his technical skill, he can let his creativity run wild. He is not afraid to push boundaries with unusual combinations, but he never loses sight of the harmony of flavours. For example, he pan-sears skate fillet until it is crispy, locking in the juices, and tops it off with a variety of additions such as earthy mushrooms, Savoy cabbage, tangy sauerkraut and a frothy beurre blanc with a hint of bacon. Egon van Hof's intricate creations tantalise the palate from amuse-bouche to dessert – at a price that won't break the bank.
