MICHELIN Guide's Point Of View

This restaurant is located close to the 13C Cistercian monastery and its Baroque church. Inside, the decor is chic, modern and laid back, and the kitchen is open to view. The dishes served here are pleasantly down to earth and packed with flavour, and put the emphasis on sustainability. Ingredients are chosen according to the season and predominantly sourced from within a 50km radius. Opt for the six-course set menu – with meat or vegetarian – or go à la carte. A vegan option is also available upon request in advance. One standout recommendation is the rich beetroot prepared in various textures and served with flakes of aromatic yet mild goat's cream cheese. Interesting: They make their own gin. Comfortable accommodation is available at the small Klosterhotel.
