Look for the carved wood sign, then walk along the path through what looks a bit like a jungle to this oasis-like space. Husband and wife, Chef Aurelien Legeay and Paulina Noble, are at the helm of this kitchen where the menu changes every new moon and offers both à la carte and tasting menu options cleverly dubbed "new moon" and "full moon." The cooking is playful and delights in the unexpected, as in oxtail with a red wine reduction and a smoked carrot purée with roasted baby carrots and long carrot chips. Steamed potato ravioli covered in a creamy potato Dauphinoise-inspired sauce with crispy matchsticks, diced smoked mackerel and a sweet candy tuile is a perfect example of their out-of-the-box style that comes with plenty of heart.
