Its name means ‘Culinary Workshop’ but that feels like doing it an injustice, as this is a beautiful, elegant spot. It's hidden away behind locked gates in a city centre courtyard and everyone is greeted at 7pm by the infectiously enthusiastic chef-owner. Seasonal ingredients feature on a highly personalised tasting menu which cleverly blends the old and the new. Flavours are memorable, sauces are a highlight and the chef describes every dish with heartfelt passion. The price also includes a carefully curated selection of drinks featuring many local biodynamic/organic wines.
