Having first worked as sous-chef here, then as head chef, Jonas Ingold now represents the seventh generation of his family at the helm of this picture-perfect establishment, whose charm and atmosphere could not be more inviting. Near the entrance, the bar displays bottles from the wine list (ideal for an aperitif or digestif) and, just next to the bar is the open kitchen. In an attractive interior with a modernised rustic feel, an ambitious tasting menu is served both at lunchtime and in the evening – a vegetarian version is also available. The à la carte selection features simpler options that are nonetheless excellent. Many of the ingredients are sourced from the region. Attentive service is provided by friendly waitstaff. The terraces are delightful in summer.
