A terrific place that is understandably popular! The picturesque location on a hill with a wonderful garden and view of the lake is its calling card – needless to say, the terrace is a big hit in summer! Dining inside the Eder family's traditional inn is also an excellent option, whether in the more cosy dining area or in the airy, modern extension. The service is friendly and professional with a personal touch. As for the sophisticated dishes, choose à la carte or opt for one of three set menus – omnivore, vegetarian or fish and shellfish. Another stand-out feature is the extensive, top-notch wine list. Their lunch menu is also an appealing option.

"We have refurbished our premises to make it more energy efficient, in accordance with historic preservation, and we work with vegetables from our organic farmer, Reinhard Winter from the Wädenswiler Berg. We buy meat, game and poultry from Switzerland as far as possible. We recycle and work to reduce CO2, and our employees remain loyal to us for a long time."
