With the arrival of Svenja and Adrian Nessensohn (both previously employed at Lampart's in Hägendorf), Helvetia has gained two dedicated and friendly hosts who keep abreast of the latest culinary trends. They are also committed to a sustainable approach and the use of locally sourced ingredients. Some of the meat is even provided by the chef's brother, who runs his own farm. Get comfortable in this pretty restaurant, where a relaxed atmosphere reigns, and savour an appealing set menu with dishes designed to be shared – also available in a vegetarian version by prior arrangement. In summer, make a beeline for the gorgeous terrace. The restaurant is also open at lunchtime on Thursdays – the set menu is shorter but also includes vegetarian options.

"We only use Swiss produce, mostly from the immediate vicinity, and some of our meat even comes from my brother's farm. However, our cuisine is predominantly plant-based – vegetables play a central role. We advocate our sharing concept as a way of bringing people together and of reducing waste."
