This pleasingly animated little osteria is located at the start of the pedestrian precinct, with the terrace area laid out in front of the entrance. The attractive interior is comfortable, with simple bistro chairs, wooden tables and the activity in the kitchen visible to diners. Authentic Italian dishes are served by an ambitious team – try, for example, "Gnocchetti di Mamma Bruna" – house-made potato gnocchetti al ragù della casa or "Rana Pescatrice in Armonia Mediterranea" – roasted monkfish on a bed of braised chicory, beech mushrooms, Taggiasca olives and Jerusalem artichoke puree. At lunchtime, the options are more limited but include short set menus ideal for a quick meal.
