Even from the outside, Alte Torkel, which is located right on the road through the vineyards, is liable to turn heads! The old stone house at a remove from even its closest neighbours has maintained its regional charm while incorporating modern touches; the wine theme is omnipresent. In keeping with its "Fine Wineing" motto, the menu is characterised by a regularly changing selection of wines by the glass. A contemporary influence makes itself felt in the seasonal, regional cuisine. The hosts are cordial and dedicated. In summer, the terrace with a view of the valley is a real boon!
