Dating from 16C, Detmolder Hof not only offers comfortable accommodation in a classically elegant setting, but it is also home to Jan Diekjobst's fine dining restaurant, which has become the real centrepiece of the hotel. After stints at Victor's FINE DINING by Christian Bau in Perl-Nennig and The Table Kevin Fehling in Hamburg, among others, here the chef cooks up a modern take on classic cuisine that attracts throngs of diners. In addition to excellent food, there is very friendly service and a tasteful interior with high ceilings, a striking chandelier, a large mirror and fine floorboards, as well as an open kitchen – all of which makes for a genuinely charming and lively atmosphere.
