Situated in a lively district just a stone’s throw from the Porta Romana, this modern restaurant with an open-view kitchen (also visible from outside) now has a new wine cellar which is accessed via a flight of stairs and also doubles as a convivial dining room. Menus are handwritten on rice paper by the chef, emphasising the artisanal approach here, with recipes then explained by staff at your table. Luca Natalini, originally from Tuscany but also with experience from around the world, creates personalised meat and fish dishes such as red mullet and seasonal vegetables with a hollandaise sauce and lobster reduction.
