Situated on the slopes of the Tofana directly overlooking the ski slopes, this characteristic and romantic mountain lodge boasts a contemporary feel, with a design which manages to combine tradition and modernity, as does the cuisine served here. The contemporary-style dishes (including a delicious seafood Rossini with beef, foie gras, cuttlefish and Teriyaki sauce) focus on local ingredients and are often cooked over the barbecue grill, in summer and winter alike. Although the dishes are inspired by local traditions, thanks to his long experience abroad chef Federico Rovacchi will also surprise you with historic classics created by well-known chefs from outside Italy, which he reinterprets with enthusiasm. The result is intelligent cuisine which is nonetheless concrete, rich and full of flavour. The wine list includes a good selection of Piedmontese labels, including Barolo and Barbaresco.
